Ben-san
that looks absolutely superb, why on earth didnt they make the dials like that from the factory!! first class Who knows... they're all incandescent bulbs back there. They had their hearts in the right place though, each dial uses a clever little piece of internally-reflecting plastic to distribute light. Surprisingly, there are only 3 bulbs to light the whole lot! Thanks for all the nice comments. It's been something I've been meaning to do for ages, and what a result. I thoroughly recommend you have this done if yours are looking a little tired. Small price to pay for a lot of this --> In truth, I was hoping these would be unique but hey, it was too good not to share.

hogmaw
You'd have thought Toyota would have sorted the problem when they did the facelift makeover in '96 - but the dash lighting problem remains. Can you do facelift too?
Burna
Toyota managed to get it right on the RX300 and that's the look I've been after since I drove one, and Si has got it spot on

Can you do facelift too? should be able too, would have to take the clocks appart to design the pcb for the 3 smaller dials.
