Jamesy W
I got the Nokia 6500 Slide and the Lg Viewty just before Christmas. Both are good phones but I prefer the Nokia for the size and style
jamesmark
Nokia 95 is a brick, I had one and promptly returned it, not because it was a brick as I don't mind big phones but the battery life was shocking I was charging every 24 hours. Plus the N95 for someone with limited knowledge of phones is a big piece of kit.
merckx
Why don't you just keep your existing phone and your monthly payment will come down, that's what I did. Upgrades aren't free!
robin
The newer n95 8gb version has a bigger battery. I found a good way to make the battery last alot longer if you use wifi was to turn down the TX power from 100mw to 10 or 4 mw. I charged mine on sunday morning and its just down to one bar now with about 30-40 mins on the phone and a good hour or so of browsing via wifi each day and a few texts. I know thats not great but its OK.
jamesmark
Why don't you just keep your existing phone and your monthly payment will come down, that's what I did. Upgrades aren't free! I upgraded to a better phone and reduced my call plan to £35 (from £45) a month and reduced the 18 month contract to a 12 month contract whilst keeping the same 600mins X network and 1000 texts. That was with 02 and I never phoned to try and leave, they just offered it with no prompt by me, well chuffed.
merckx
I came to the conclusion that I didn't really need an upgrade , reduced my monthly cost from £30 to £15.

How many minutes and texts are with that deal? And what network are you on?
merckx
How many minutes and texts are with that deal? And what network are you on? You probably won't be impressed, 200 minutes , zero texts - Virgin I was just trying to make the point that your monthly cost should come down considerably if you kept you phone. Loved the n70. and the 6680 wasn't bad before that. Did consider the viewity, but, I went off LG phones years ago, and I'm scared to give them a second chance. If I don't like the n95, I will look at it again though.
