michael
I think you mean Oliver Has to be when they had the Enzo on. They brought in an F40 and Clarkson was bigging up the 80's supercars big time. I agree with him though - the Enzo might get you home quicker, but I'd choose the F40 over it anyday. WoRpm7ehkjQ It worries me that people still can't tell the difference between the obviously staged stuff and real life though.

ivan
It worries me that people still can't tell the difference between the obviously staged stuff and real life though.I don't think it really matters though Michael - it's still bloody funny. Remember when they turned the caravan round on their camping trip and the police turned up? That was on the main road into Bovington Camp and they closed it specially for the BBC. All the locals and squaddies either had to wait or go round the long way.
Supra-Brett
Have to agree. The America episode was side-splittingly funny! Got to love the scene at the filling station when the pickup truck full of inbread locals pulls in ready to attack them and Clarkson (the biggest guy there) jumps into his car and takes off leaving James with a flat battery and Hammond (the size of a 12 year old boy) to help him! QUOTE] Have to agree this episode is ace. When Clarkson turns up at the campsite with a dead cow strapped to the roof of that Camero it was class. Then the cheek of it at the end of the episode when they give their cars away, and the ungrateful americans who are getting one of the cars say they are going to sue top gear for giving them a car not exactly as it was describe to them by the producer- unbelievable !! MrRalphMan
It worries me that people still can't tell the difference between the obviously staged stuff and real life though. It's nearly all staged, even the long distance races, how do they get all the shots if it's not? But that aside, it's great to watch and cracks me up every time
Chris Wilson
My favourite moment will be when someone pulls the plug on this puerile, tasteless POS programme and replaces it with something a lot more cerebral

I think you should be castrated for Top Gear is the only half-decent programme on TV full stop.

Chris Wilson
Even the BBC news is a dumbed down, politically slanted satire these days. The quality of TV in the millennium salves any guilt I may have had about spending so much time in the pub.
