rob wild
Right after Michel has shattered my dreams over my nice quite exhaust Basically I have a mongoose which i personally love as its really quite but its to restrictive when tunning in the higher boost areas So basically I need a 3" straight exit (as i have a trial rear) but i want it to be quite! I know I'm old and boring! I was going to get a xs-power one as i have looked a couple of them and they were not noise on idle which is good but they are not a centre exit Anyway i've had search about but am really unsure now on which one would be best Any suggestion/pictures/sound clips would be good
Pixelfill
How about a really loud unrestrictive exhaust, but with a baffle for when you don't need the huuuuuge power? with your funky doodle dandy ECU could you have 2 maps? one for Ultimate power - loud with an unrestricted exhaust. and one for pootling around town with the restrictive baffle - quieter and better economy with just obscene power Just dropping an idea into your mental think tank to see if it blows bubbles. CarlT67
My kakimoto exhaust fits the trial rear with no adapting, its also fairly quite, not sure how restrictive it is though, it does have two boxes in the pipe.
Matt H
Come on Mr Wild! you don't spend that kind of money on performance to be quite about it!

Nic
I'd recommend the Blitz RX, this is one of the quietest Db rated exhausts available. If you you'd like more details let me know. http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/images/products/productimages/hires/Nur-RX-Universal_1.jpg
AndyT
Nic's I'm sure MVP had sound clips 6 months ago but can't find it now. Tanabe Touring Medallion has been recommeded as quiet too. Andy

Andy I hate that video clip as my power steering pump is rattling like crazy, it has since been replaced. I use the GReddy Ti-R which is one of the very few road legal exhaust sold in Japan. The Blitz RX is one of the other road legal exhausts. I have read that the Tanabe Touring Medallion is a good choice too if wanting a quiet exhaust, bt this is only available from Tanabe USA. Nic
Slight hijack sorry, Is this as low as the Nur Spec R? Mike Low, as in clearance underneath? It is basically the same as the NUR Spec R, but quieter due to additional silencing.

garetheves
Id defo go for the Superdragger "If" its a 3" (im not 100%). Its what ive got on mine. Straight exit so it sits flush with the bumper, very nice burble at idle and doesnt set car alarms off as you pass, but on WOT it sounds lovely.
