rob wild
Hello Right im about to move my insurance and was looking at using Sky but they will not quote because of my postcode The area i live in is one of the safest as my home insurance as gone down. Anyway i was going to try A-Plan but it seems they have different branches and not one central line. Just wondering which one is the best? You need to phone the special Jap import scheme, which is based at Thatcham I think. 0845 071 1234.

supra_aero
sorry, I couldn't resist. Was quite worried you could have been 98 years old or something and could take true offence to that joke! 10 years no claims is incredible. Don't think I know anyone who has driven so long without any kind of crash/theft related claim!
Tom S
I've had a couple, but with protected you can have 2 claims in a 3 yr period and not see it affect. Safe driver I suppose, and will use the Megaphone on you some day, You'll understand if you ask some one who has been to JAE:eyebrows:
Pixelfill
Rob, you did mention the club, and ask for Jae, Scott, or Graham when you rang Sky. Jae has told me in the past that they don't usually insure Supras except through the owners club, so anyone not used to dealing with the club might not have gone out of their way to help. Given that they are based down south (Enfield I think) Preston might have been too far for none Special cases. Mike
SimonB
They only give up to 5 years no claims anyway, any more than that it'll be the same. Some places take 6-8 into account, but normally it's 5.

mr keef
i was insured through sky for the last couple of years on 2 cars..but sadly when i got a quote for the single it was double what a plan wanted and with the same company:rolleyes:...so went with a-plan,then i got a quote for my daily drive and that was way over the top too so now im with a-plan for both;)
Tricky-Ricky
40 yr old cheeky! 10 yrs protected no claims Aristo TT Vertex What group is the Aristo? notice you are BPU + my Supra is the same + kit and I'm paying £530 odd, it is AG, but then again I'm a fair bit older than you, and don't live in a particularly dodgy area. All Japanese imports are treated as group 20. So I would imagine that an Aristo would be too. Unless (very unlikely) it's treated as a GS300.
