Homer
Hello mate i'd been told previously that you can get a 3" -> 4" adaptor so i could fit the 4" bore back box to my Envy 3" bore 2nd decat pipe? Sorry mate, I completely mis-read your post. Ignore what I said earlier. On a BPU TT the RSR and BL sound very similar. They are virtually the same noise wise , though the RSR is perhaps a little louder on idle. In the vid compilation posted earlier the black TT with the RSR is my car, it's far louder IRL. The recording was done out in the open with a noisy road in the background so it didn't capture the sound too well. If I was to have a TT again I'd go for the RSR. Jamesy
cheers Homer - i think i prob will go for the RSR one! the bloke says he thinks the baffle in his RSR is actually broken tho - des tha mean i can remove it still or did they make some without removeable baffles??? jamesmark
If you look at the picture I put up, if that big end piece is broken it won't be a loss as it is a hollow tube anyway. However the baffle bolts onto the end of the ehaust, there will be a hole in the lip so if it's broken it will just fall out.

Homer
If it's just the baffle that knackered then you're fine (although that sounds strange as they're pretty unbreakable). Get him to send a pic before buying. The older ones are prone to rust at the joint between the back box and the main pipe up to the 2nd cat so ensure he's not referring to this as being at fault. jamesmark
Here you go. Took 2 clips for you. UK spec with 2nd decat, 1st cat still in place so it will be even louder on double decat.

Homer
Yep, thats a much better video than mine. It's much closer to the real life sound though is a little more throughty/louder on a full decat

Just had a message off him saying the garage told him "the baffles were on there way out" He has looked under the car and said it looks fine with no sights of any probs further down. not sure what that means by the baffles are on there way out though - if its just the removeable baffle thats fine as i want it out anyway - but is there some other baffles that could rot away which would make the system a lemon? any advice greatly appriciated as i really do fancy going for it, but a bit unsure as to what i'm getting!!
