Jamesy
I fancy changing my HKS Super Dragger to a loud BL exhaust - just need the part from the end of the 2nd decat to the back box please. (or the whole lot incl where the 2nd decat pipe is depending on what you have) i believe these are 4" bore so if theres an adaptor too to fit it to my 3" decat pipe that would be ideal! MIGHT ALSO CONSIDER THE LOUD BLITZ NUR SPEC..... cheers fellas.
Homer
The BL backbox has a 4inch slip-fit connection so would need some welding work to make it fit to your cat back.

Hello mate i'd been told previously that you can get a 3" -> 4" adaptor so i could fit the 4" bore back box to my Envy 3" bore 2nd decat pipe? jamesmark
What about the equally loud RS*R? maybe not as good as the BL but it is better than the Nur Spec and 100 times better fit as the Nur spec hangs low also it is not as droney. Envy do a copy of the RS*R as they are discontinued.
Jamesy
If its roughly as loud as the BL exhaust mate i'd def consider one if it came up for sale......

Your best bet is to spend a bit of time on Youtube. I have an RS*R fitted to mine and it is quite loud and I still have the first cat in place. The RS*R is nice and loud on idle too. Jamesy
who makes the RSR exhaust? how much louder will it be than my Super Dragger?
jamesmark
The RS*R is probably louder than the Nur Spec imho and it's a lot less raspy too.
jamesmark
Just to confuse you somemore Exhaust compilation The Veilside Ti sounds The very end car you will see what I mean about the hanging low of the Nur Spec. The RS*R is about 1:00 min in.
Jamesy
Thanx mate will check it out now - i am now keen on this RSR, just as long as its around the same kinda loudness as the BL, and much louder than what i have......

Jamesy
does the RSR have a removeable baffle? i have lined up an RSR replacement for mine but the baffle has gone...how loud is this likely to be? is the baffle suposed to come out of the RSR exhaust (i.e are you suposed to have a choice of baffle in/baffle out?) cheers
jamesmark
Mines has a baffle, it just inserts into the exhaust.

Not sure if its just my speakers Super dragger sounded pretty similar to the noise of the RSR on that video?
jamesmark
The RS*R has a baffle that you can either have in the exhaust or take it out, my baffle is sitting in the garden. It is about 10" long and has a larger circular end. See here for example. http://www.bestmufflers.com/Information/Xforce/muffler_lp03.jpg
Jamesy
thanx mate - the one i have lined up has no baffle - therefore am i right in thinking its going to be feckin loud?
jamesmark
Tell you what if I remeber tomorrow I will get the camera stand out and give you a sound clip of it on idle and a fair few revs. I will try and get the same clips with the baflle too.
