Seb
Could you use something like Dynamat or one of its rival products to get rid of unwanted and excessive exhaust noise/boom and if so, wherabouts would be a good place to put the stuff? merckx
Everywhere under the the carpet including the boot and the inner rear arches. In luxury cars they use acoustic felt type stuff. Dynamat is okay but it's more suited to dampening vibrations on thin panels, I used it on the doors . On the floor and arches I used dynamat and felt. Kranz
Seb, I have some spare foam/lead/foam sandwich material that will kill all noise. Its about 15mm thick & not very heavy (the lead is only about 1mm). Yours if you want it as its taking up space in the shed? Edit: Its the same as the lead sandwich here http://www.noisekiller.co.uk/materials.php
