Road maps?

Can anyone under 20, and not affiliated with the armed services, guides or scouts actually read a map and compass properly these days? When the balloon goes up and the satellites shut down, no one except those of my age, and too old to get far on foot anyway, will be able to get out of their own back yard :)

 

I find a £2.50 map from any petrol station quite adequate for finding my way anywhere, cigarette lighter sockets are for cigarette lighters...

yeah, could help :rolleyes: bidefords about 30mins down the road from me, you need to go through it to get to bude (anja says so could be wrong lol) so theres no point in me driving to cornwall and back again, so i am just meeting up in biddy

 

So the route we selected depicts at the moment yes.

So time to reward his past experience with some time off, let the Sat Nav do the talking :)

 

He doesn't want sat naFF, nor do I realyly. No need to be honest.

 

Many a Lorry and Bus Driver has gotten stuck thanks to their sat naFF on these ere Cornish roads. ;)
