JimC
As above? Thinking of getting some for my supe.... 19" are - 19x9.5J +40B 19x10.5J +37B 18" are - 18x9J +40A 18X10J +43B Anyone know about fitting these? Are they a straight fit onto the supe given the sizes and offsets? Cheers Jim
Nic
They are the sizes, offsets and disk that are recommended for the Supra by the manufacturer Rays. JimC
cheers guys. What has been your experience with these wheels in terms of durability? Any problems? I have CW suspension and a complete UK brake set-up so these should fit ok? Also, my current wheels have a 35mm offset. Does the offset on these Volk's (40 and 43 on the 19's) mean they will be further out or in?
Nic
Volk wheels are very good quality, the sizes/offset recommended by Rays are to fit over the larger spec brakes. Whether they sit wider or narrower will also depend on the width of your current wheels. There is an offset calculator here that you can use to compare your current wheel sizes with the Volk wheels. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

JimC
yeah, i do like the GTS wheels...I'm still deciding if i prefer them over the Vortex R's. I'm not sure! I wanted to get other peoples opinions................
Chris Wilson
Too wide to give good handling, the 19 inch ones will kill the handling altogether.
JimC
I've had 19's on for just over a year now. They've been fine. Compared to my previous 18" wheels, on the road, the difference in unnoticable. Between 3 supra's in the family, 2 on 19" wheels, 1 on 18" wheels, the handling is near enough identical (in road use). Now if your talking about track use, thats a different story and i totally agree with you Chris.

TLicense
I have them on mine in mercury silver. I absolutely love 'em. (ignore the 4x4 suspension, I'd just jacked that car up and it hadn't settled)

JimC
Gaz1 - Gaz, what is the depth of the dish on the wheels, front and back. I personally think wheels with a decent depth dish look best on a supe (racing hart, vortex R).

SJMKIV
I was planning on getting volk gts' for my car too, but as roads in my country aren't the best, thinking of sticking with 18". Are 8J-Front and 9J-Rear recommended? or 9J-Front and 10J-Rear? What offset would I need?
