mathew
a few months back my mom spotted a very black beauty spot on the top of my left arm around the back (easier to say shoulder i guess). since she had skin cancer 10 years ago she gets paranoid about these things so booked me an appointment at the local surgery. the doc there then refferes me to the specialist atsingleton hospital. so there i was thursday at the hospital. on my own may i add! the receptionist pointed me in the direction of the dermatology waiting room. went in to see the doc and he asked me there are student nurses ad doctors about would i mind if any were to watch the consultation so i said i wouldnt mind. so i take my top off and show the doc the little black bugger. he then suggests for me to get checked all over (i hav quite a few beauty spots) so i strip down to my pants and socks. at this point the doc pulls out a light which looks like a table tennis bat and starts going over all the beauty spots. (i think the light showed up evil ones, i dunno).....
mathew
at this point theres a knock on the door and in walk 3 student nurses all about my age. not stunners but not ugly either. also at this point i notice im wearing one adidas sock and one nike which one student also kindly pointed out. so the doc is going over the beauty spots and every other few he's giving the students info about all the different types. all i could think was 'dont get a stiffy, dont get a stiffy!' after about 5 mins its all over and i put my clothes back on and back in the waiting room ready to have the bastard cut out. 30mins passes during which time ive had an old fella cough in my face, an old lady falling of a chair and me realising i had a bit a bologneise stain on the side of my mouth. then the call comes...MATHEW LEE HUGHES......... Pot
odd sock im wearing one adidas sock and one nike Damn, and I was waiting for some form of student nurse foot fisting incident!...
mathew
in the 'minor operation' room i find my 3 favourite student nurses who are gona watch me endure the agony which is about to be cast upon my poor self. the doc wasnt happy with doing it with me sat down niether with me lying on my front (it was awkward to get to) so im in put in the most camp looking position ever lyin on my side propping my head up with my right arm and my left hung very camply over about 5 pillows. the operation went fine but the doc was bit of a character and kept cracking jokes and chatting away to the students about the procedure until my right arm started to have a dose of cramp so i am then propped up by the nurses. so i get all stitched up and start to get dressed but then i seemed to turn into a kinda frank spencer and became really clumsy as i struggled to put on my jumper and my phone and wallet falling under a unit and stuttering when these nurses were asking if im ok and do i need a hand. so all in all it was an interesting day and an experience! Mcgoo
I think you mean moles, don't you ? I thought a beauty spot was a well placed mole on the face of a beautiful lady.

Emily Howard at wekends?? Glad you had it removed before it caused any problems. Now the key question, did you get the student nurses' numbers??? michael
I had stitches in my forehead not so long ago - people instantly presume you've been head butting people like some crazed neo nazi rather than having had an operation. I liked my stitches but now they are gone

juanchan
I had stitches in my forehead not so long ago - people instantly presume you've been head butting people like some crazed neo nazi rather than having had an operation. I liked my stitches but now they are gone I had a load of those steri-strip things when I split my eyelid open. People in public kept giving me that "oh look, a yob who's been in a fight" type looks. Even people at work would come up to me when I was alone to ask if the reason I'd given for having them was real

Charlotte
When I broke my ankle I had stitches and staples. I couldn't believe they removed them with a similar staple extractor to the one I have at work.
Supra_dan
I remember having stiches across my forehead. Had a car crash I was in the back seat with out a belt on and managed to smash the windscreen with my face Slitting my head open right across my eye brow. Only time i've needed stitches!
