Sheefa
Hi all, Found out today that I passed the OASC selection phase, the PROAC and all interviews and have now been offered an Officer's Commission. I am due to start Initial Officer Training in May 2008. This is subject to a final fitness and medical review end of January. I will also be issued my kit and walking (read as running my arse off!) boots. I'm over the moon! It's all I've ever wanted to do and it's taken me over 10 months with various fitness, medicals, interviews and other tests to get here. I am going into the RAF Regiment branch, basically combat infantry where following successfuly completion of IOT and the Junior Regiment Officers Course I will take command of a 'flight' of 30 gunners. More infor available here if you're interested http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafregiment/careers/officers.cfm Wahoo. This is the result I've been needing to clear my head, sort my career path out and let everything else fall into place. Cheers. Greg.
