tomgeer Posted January 12, 2008 Share Posted January 12, 2008 I would appreciate any advice I tried to fit my HKS turbo timer today but after removing the lower dash panel under the ignition switch I found that the harness is totally different to the one that came with the turbo timer that is supposed to fit a supra. My car is a facelift j-spec tt, the existing harness has 8 plugs and the hks supra harness (picture of it in my hand) doesn't? Have I got the wrong wiring loom , is it different on uk models or pre-facelifts or something? supra matt Posted January 12, 2008 Share Posted January 12, 2008 you got to take the single plug off the back of the key barrel mate the hks harness goes between the back of the barrel and then in to the old loom you just unplugged job done. tomgeer Posted January 12, 2008 Author Share Posted January 12, 2008 I've just had another look, the plug that comes directly off the barrel is held in with some small bolts, it looks nothing like the hks loom to me, you can see it in the original picture joined to the loom I unplugged, it looks too small, is that the one you mean?
