Carl_S
I'm reading (well dipping in and out of) a book called the God delusion, it's kinda hard, becuase its academic, and I struggle with those kind of books, but it got me thinking about belief. I used to believe in God, well I tried to, for about a year, then it just dawned on me that I really didn't believe in him anymore. Any one else here actually still believe in God? colsoop
I don't believe in an all powerful god figure but i believe there is a force similar to fate which i also believe in.
n boost
Everybody is entitled to there own beliefs. I believe in god and dont really care what science or anyone else has to say about it as it is my personal belief. Science is interesting but can not explain eveything. Simple things like...What came first, the chicken or the egg? which is a classic. We live in a world today were people see religion as anti everything and believing in god is well old fashioned now. Pabs
I'm somewhere between colsoop and nboost really - I'm not 100% into the belief, but I like to think that there is someone or some force that looks after us.

Golddigga
I'd like to believe in God but find the concept all a bit far fetched....however I'd like to think that we don't through all of this shit in life for nothing
Lukeyboy2k
What came first, the chicken or the egg? As a believer of Darwin's theory of evolution I think the egg came first.

What makes you believe in God? Do you have relationship with him? Does he talk to you and can you see him making changes in you life that can’t be reasonably explained? Has anything you ever prayed for come true? Sorry for all the questions

Depends on the definition of the egg. At some point in the evolution of a chicken it would have stopped fitting the definition of [whatever animal it evolved from] and would have become a chicken. If a chicken's egg is an egg that a chicken has come from, then the egg came first, if a chicken's egg is an egg that a chicken lays then the chicken came first. Simple really.
