tbourner
But don’t think the GT-R is going to take up the place of its predecessor in the tuning market. Nissan is so certain that its supercar cannot be improved that it has tried to make it impossible to be modified using the latest electronic and mechanical security features. Wonder how long that'll last!
Daston
well according to jap performance top secret are alreading working on several GT-R's as is HKS and blitz. Personaly I would have the R34 or GT-R. Theres around 7 R33's in taunton and not one is a GTR and they all think they have 1000000000hp and try it on evey time they spot me, bless. Nick
Wonder how long that'll last! Mines have already released a VX-ROM which will be for sale very soon, along with a full titanium exhaust, suspension, brake upgrade, carbon parts etc. Later in the year will be a built engine and turbos. There was no need to "crack" the apparently un-crackable ECU either, they have a very good relationship with Nissan. Top Secret, MCR etc are all working on upgrades too. I think the argument is Nissan have made this such a good car as standard, do you need to change anything? If it was me I'd fit the ECU to remove the speed limiter, and an exhaust to give some much needed sound.

JamieP
I love the new R35 GTR, i think it looks stunning and amazing performance:cool:
grahamc
I've seen a few R35's over here and they are BIG, much bigger than the other three. That first picture doesn't look right though. Had a sit in one of the Mine's demo cars and it doesn't feel big, but there's no getting away from the size when you stand next to it. I'm quite taken by the car, it's grown on me a lot but it's too big for me. If anything I'd like a second car that's smaller and lighter. No electronic trickey, just back to basics and RWD. Will be going to the Tokyo Auto Salon tomorrow where Mine's, Top Secret, MCR etc will have their R35 demo cars on display. Will post some pictures. You had better!! I love the new R35 GTR, i think it looks stunning and amazing performance:cool: Have to agree, but does look really big!
mattanna
who cares how fat it is, it does not go like a fat b***ard, i would put it more in the arnold schwarzennegger in his hey day as oppossed to fat, Supra is not exactly thin
MrDriver
I like it that the gtr is so wide, but they should have made it lower. I should try a photoshop one. - P -
Supe
The R33 number plate is not correctly aligned Something about the R35 that I don't like, although it looks better, the more I see it.

colsoop
It is certainly wider but is it any heavier than its predeccesors ?
Carl_S
Sayin that the Supra is slightly wider.. lookin at specs but ide always have said the 34 was wider.. May be the more aggressive body lines I's say r34gtr is wider than r33gtr. the whole r34 design looks wider anyway. I love the new R35 GTR, i think it looks stunning and amazing performance:cool: Looks too much like the a later gen celica for me, wonder if someone here will actually test drive one? mattanna
but what you all appear to be missing is 0-60 in 3.5 sec and 193 mph, without mods so it cannot be that fat, ugly is irrelevant noone will get long enough to look:)
Bobbeh
Theres probably some American influcence in the designs there as this is the first GT-R to be sold in the states
Scott
looks like a kitted 350z from the front. I'm a fan of the figures but not the looks. I would love an R34. Might happen one day thanks to the R35 bringing the prices down Scott =op
