Ewen
I'm on a Mac, Googling via Safari. Usually no problems at all, but all of a sudden Safari has started crashing out whenever I click on Youtube, or a Youtube link. Anyone any idea what I could look at to fix ? Carl_S
I'd do this: Reboot. Does it work now? If not, uninstall anything you put on in the last day or so before the problem happened. Failing that. Just wait. Try tommorrow.

Ewen
Have you tried switching it off and on again? If I didnt know already, I'd guess you worked in IT Ken:)
AndrewOW
I don't have any problems on my Mac, but do you know if your Mac's software is totally up to date? Might be worth checking. I was able to watch YouTube at work, but the Mac there is still OS9, so has been rendered useless for that kind of thing now.
Pete
Upgrade the flash player maybe? http://www.adobe.com - "get flash".
Nic
A few things to try 1. 'Reset Safari' (select in Safari drop down menu at top). Note this will delete any stored passwords, cookies, cache, etc. 2. If that doesn't work go to 'Disk Utilities' and run 'Repair Disk Permissions.' 3. If that doesn't work run 'Verify Disk' in 'Disk Utilities' Also as Pete said make sure your software is all up to date, run 'Software Update' to check. Ewen
Thanks guys, and Nic:)...tried all the above, but no go. Looked around the Apple / Mac forums and the problem is world wide, started pretty much the same time. OSX 10 and older, Safari and Firefox, all crashing out when clicking on Youtube. Too much over my head, but seems unfixable with the set-up I have here.

AndrewOW
It might be worth updating to Tiger 10.4.11, as I don't have any problems with YouTube, but saying that I do sometimes have a few niggles with IMDB. If its not one thing, its another
