SupraStar 3000
I borrowed my old man's laptop to do some video work. He's a local Parish Counciler and uses his PC all day every day. I just dropped the local telephone directory onto it from a shelf and now it doest start up Not only that, some of the keys have snapped off. Assuming I can live for a few more hours and get the thing started, can you buy the keys separately? Its a Toshiba Satellite 1800 laptop

DannyB
Im sure it will be ok mate, info on the hard drive can be saved... if it wasnt the hard drive being damaged that has stopped it from working in the first place!
BASHTHEBISHOP
Try taking the battery out & in then try & get it to boot. As for the keys, give toshiba a ring directly and i am sure they will sort you out some. We used to use Toshiba 4600 & they were very helpful with keys, mouse nipples etc
