Getrag
Is there anyway of leaving some front or rear lights on when you turn the car off? Id like to make it more visible when I pop into the shops or whatever. Maybe an immobiliser thing? Cheers.

absz
your side lights should stay on when ignition is off . its part of the mot test for them to work in that manner

toyotasuprauk
Are you saying if you leave the lights on then turn the engine off and lock the car etc, all the lights turn themselves off? If so mine doesn't do that, it just beeps to remind they are on. (import)
mawby
All my lights turn off if I turn off the engine then open and close the drivers door with the keys out of the ingition. If I want them turned on I just turn the on after I've turned the engine off.

Getrag
Ah, figured it out! If I have lights on, take keys out, the lights go out. So if I want them to stay on with keys out, I have to turn the lights off then on again (presumably to make sure its a conscious decision). Its probably meant to be that way....
