Im sure you have the right to cancel at any time, admin fees may apply, but i'm sure you should be entitled to a refund if you have paid up front

Nah that cant be right, read ur terms and conditions unless it states theres not refund if the policy is cancelled early or not paid up front then youve got um. Ask for a copy by post if you havent got them.

I cant see that being right, cos thats just robbing someone of money should there circumstances change!! Lets face it S*** happens.

ooops sorry wont let that happen again, so basically my name will be on the trade poicy which covers social and domestic use on any car third party but the supra and 3 other cars will be fully comp insured under the policy so that means for 1k i can drive my brothers scooby aswell as my supra:) plus any modifications

it doesnt only cover cars it covers the whole garage jamiep has one i think his pays out over 50k

I looked into it myself some time ago - I guess they vary but on the fairly decent one I was tempted into they were happy to cover all mods you could ever imagine but in the event of a claim you got trade price for the base car. For me it was too much of a potential loss, you are also affected if one of the others makes claims.

Just do your homework too fella, I don't want to see a post where you've had the car nicked or someone has hit you and they are only offering £2k or something silly.

yea im going to discuss this later when my dad and brother gets here

spoke to the trade insurance guy and he said my supra will be put under the policy along with my dads other cars and the subaru. He said i can drive any car as long as im over 21 and i told him to declare my modifications etc. The supe will be insured fully comp and he said my dad will be the main policy holder and the policy states his family are alowed to drive the cars or any cars any time for social and domestic pleasure:) i will cancel my policy once this is taken out and il save 400 pounds

oh and the cars are covered upto 30k
