Daston Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 been to look at 2 cars at the same garage both are going for £700 (please note this is also a car for the misses as she is starting to learn) 1) 1996 Nissan Micra 1.3 12mth MOT 6mth TAX 3 owners 80k miles FSH. 2) 1998 Saxo 1.1 12mth MOT 6mth TAX 1 owner 130k miles FSH. You could pick up an Escort on the same year for the same money, it'll be cheaper to repair, it's bigger, the engine will probably have more power and more room. Insurance and petrol costs might be slightly higher though. Small cars attract a premium, if you go up a size you can score some real bargains.
