big sam sacked by toon

Newcastle need to get a grip on reality and realise that NO manager is going to send them to the top without being given the time to do so! They all get about a week to prove their skills before they're out again. Look at how Bolton are performing now compared to under Sam over the last few seasons. He was clearly a massive positive influence on them. Newcastle have just let one of the better managers in the premiership go IMO.

If it was the sack he did not deserve it, I honestly feel the newcastle fans think the club is actually bigger and better than it actually is when in reality they are probably less than a midtable outfit. BTW take the p*ss all you like I support Leeds

If big sam with all his experience can't turn the toon round how can you expect Shearer with no management experience to. Unless they want another boro

I personally think Shearer is just what Newcastle needs. The Toon is his life, the club and the fans would both be behind him 100%.

In fact, i may even put money on it.

I'm not sayin they'll be back at the top of the table.... but he'll do a damn sight better than Allerdice.

They don't suffer fools tho' not that shearer is but he is a legend he would lose face in the end. He needs to go and learn the management trade first at a lesser club.

He should do the same as Mark Hughes prove himself then move to a bigger club. I am talking future here but I back Sparky to take over from Sir Alex

Sam's type of football was never going to suit Newcastle, they also don't have may big bruisers like Bolton do!!

I don't think he's a great manager anymore! Agood manager will use the players he has and motivate them, Allardyce only seems to know how to clobber other teams and not out play them....

Not before time. (I'm a local Newcastle fan) . :D

I find it difficult to think of one good thing that Allardyce did in his short time at Newcastle.

Playing players out of position and playing so negatively, there was no confidence in the team and it was terrible to watch.

Was never Mike Ashley's choice so its understandable-Fat Fred's last remaining imprint on the club.

I actually wanted him but knew many season ticket holders who didnt. I like the thought of his "new" management techniques etc but lately his tactics and positioning of players like square pegs in round holes has been questionable. Transfers have been VERY hit and miss.

Geremi-S***E AND CAPTIAN!!?!?!

Rozenhal, Cacapa-Caught the NUFC S***E defending germs.

Barton-What can you say? Everyone warned him/us.

Faye/Enrique-Jury's out....

Viduka/Beye-2 Good signings.

One rumour is M Ashley seen the FA Cup draw against Arsenal away and realised SA last chance to bring in any glory was shot with no European place looking likely as well.
