How much do you enjoy football?

I suppose being a spurs fan you have nothing to be fanatical about :D

Oh i dunno we have won more trophies than most we have lots of support, we are ever constant in the footballs rich list without winning owt lately, the only way is up or staying 12th n up as usual. If we have nothing to shout about, then neither do like 95% of the league who are below us, won less than us, poorer than us.

As for players dramatically rolling around as if shot then getting up & playing the , i think that should be a 3 match ban, i think refs should be told by earpiece of replay information to act on.

Rugby is a much more honest sport, im just not keen on it prefer grid iron

I think the general chav attitude of the players is a big problem in football.

They all spit from both their mouths and noses all the time... they all think they are way above the knoledge of the referee and they all seem to make miraculous recoveries once they realise a foul has been awarded.

There was some research on the net a few years back that proved good footballers are stupid (not that it's difficult to tell :D)

They scientifically proved that intelligent people "thought" too much to be a top footballer. Stupid people just react and lash out at the ball, and if it happens to go in a net every now and again, they get a £10k bonus

I enjoy football, but I agree with all comments that they are all overpaid nancies. How many times do you see a footballer rolling around on the floor in such agony they can't stand up, yet 2 mins later when they havne't been given a penalty, they're fine? I think that if you go down in that much "pain", it's an instant substitution, no questions, on health and safety grounds :D

they may be overpaid compared to nurses, but they are at the top of their profession. you wont find many on £100 grand a week outside the top four, same as any other business if you are really good at a job you get the rewards. and i dont think they are nancies for going down to win penalties, the stakes are high so its win at all costs. the only way to stop it is to ban players for obviously misleading the ref, even if you use video evidence.

Seems like the non-watchers are in the world's minority. This is taken from wiki answers:

Most Popular Spectator Sport

Soccer (football to most of the world) is the world's most watched sport.

Football has the most competition in the world. And most people concentrate on it.

Football is the most watched sport in the world.

The world cup, european championship, premiership football and the champions league final are the top four most watched sporting events on earth.

Football also has more paying spectators than any other sport. Football has more professional leagues than most other sports on earth put together.

.

Probably another reason why I don't like it. Why be a sheep and follow everyone else ? There is so much other sport out there which has a better class of spectator and competitor. (generally speaking of course)
