Carl_S
I used to want to get into it having not got into it before, now I don't care. Following on from this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=136521 I thought that I could do a poll to see who, like me, is not a football fan. steb9780
I am a big fan of football. I love Liverpool FC. I use most of my holidays booking Sundays off to watch them. But you haven't added a poll to the thread.

Havard
I'm fanatical about Spurs but as a northener supporting a southern team I don't get to see them much. Probably about 5 times a season. When I watch the match on telly it's like my heart is going to jump out of my chest! Obviously it's not as stressful if your support a team that wins a lot..... H. Ian R
Huge football fan. Support Wolves but now I have moved up norf go and watch Hibs play as just up the road (5 mins) and hearts now and again
Carl_S
Yeah I heard about the highs and lows of supporting a team from a friend. Another mate of mine started supporting Arsenal about a year ago. I was skeptical, thinking he just wanted to back a winining and rich team, but he has been wanting to be a supporter, and following them for a long time (not having had a team he supported before). I bet your mate doesn't have many lows as an Arsenal fan... They have been in the top 4 for years!! Be a Spurs fan, it has everything......pleasure, pain, scandal, disappointment, more scandal and finally losing when you've got the game in the bag.... H. JustGav
Can't stand football... Over paid players who play for teams which they are not local to. English football is a complete oxymoron. :

CJ
I've been a Leeds United fan for more years than I care to remember. When I lived at Abingdon, I used to go and watch every Saturday home game and that was after driving to Wales and back again on a Friday to pick my sons up. All in all a 1000 mile weekend Since moving to Greece, we made a deal that we (my sons and I) would watch one game a season no matter what. I came home over Christmas and went to see Leeds v Bristol Rovers - oh how the mighty have fallen

CJ
I can't stand oikball, sorry football either. Just a load of limp-wristed nancy-boys. Now, whilst I can appreciate that football (or any other sport) is not to everyone's taste, I find comments like that silly. What evidence do you have that enables you to say that people who play football are "limp-wristed nancy boys"?
AJI
I hate football. Its a game played by over paid ego-centric ponces that can't accept a single decision made by the ref. Oh, and they like to hug and kiss each other and wear silly hair styles and gloves and tights in some cases.

My comments are aimed at professional footballers who behave like prima donnas.
