Chippenham Mini Meet, Sat 9th Feb @ 3pm

Pics? I hope not on any road cameras the way me and jaymdee hurtled back to town :eyebrows:

Interestingly, after your first pass I had to switch to high boost to keep up and then your initial torque and seemingly lack of lag always caught me out. Thats a fine beast you have there and I do hope we put some smiles on any kids in cars we passed to go with the clear frowns on their elders :D

:D cheers

Yeah, it fair shifts on kick-down, and everyone's who's driven it always says that there doesn't seem to be any lag. First turbo hits 0.7Bar in an instant. That's why I'm not bothered about the whole single thing, as on the road, I can't really see how I'd get much more fun. :) Was a good blast back

So you know, it's quicker to go straight on rather than down the A46 and drop down into Bath from Lansdown race course

I sensed your hesitation but I wasn't sure if you would end up where I had arranged to pick the missus up so sorry to drag you down with me!

You shouldn't write off the single though. I reckon I would have had you once we got over 150 leptons :p

I actually expected you to come past a few times and was watching your rapidly approaching lights in the mirror :D

Don't get me wrong, I've been in a Single and they're so much faster than BPU, but I really like the low down torque of the twin setup, as I use the power band more often.

Cheers Lui

I belive mawby did take some dosh for this, and I think we are going, but in the one car:d

Sorry I missed you guys and gals again. I was down in Teignmouth picking up some doors, but then took a detour to Yeovil to get a bumper lip, after 5 hours in the car I didn't fancy the 2 hour detour to Chippenham to only catch the last hour of the meet, so drove the last 2 hours home. Was totally knackered (and grumpy) after all that time in the car so probably best I didn't show up :D

Epic and Jon, sorry guys, hopefully Mawby sorted you out with the payments

:whip: No worries we had fun without you :p

Great to finally meet Mawby and Tigger. Your organisational skills and this forum is nothing short of absolute quality as was the company of all the guys and lasses I met. I hope to get to more of these but it's totally related to how much money my darling wife can burn shopping in Bath
It was nice to meet you, no hard feelings on thinking I was a bloke:blink:. Hope you can make the next one:)

Sounds like you two had FUN on the way home

Boy's will be boy's wouldn't catch me doing such things:eyebrows:

It was nice to meet some new faces (well new faces I mean Sam and GF and Friend) Hope you will come again, and we haven't put you off?:)

I m glad it sounds like everyone enjoyed our little meet:D. Sorry if I was not as chatty as normal but I was pooped after a very busy morning, I only just managed to get back in time for a shower. At least I slept well that night:d

Hope to see you all and a few more at the next meet Sat 8th March back at THE MILLHOUSE.

Sorry for the late reply:

Thanx Genna for organising the meet, was good !

Pleased to hear that you are not planning to move the meet to Wales (couldn't trust Mawby with all those sheep eh) :D

How about a nice little run down the A303 / M3 (nice roads) in a couple of weeks :)

See: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=140192

Just a thought...

How about making it 2.00 PM ?

It gives a bit longer in the daytime sun ? (for Supra viewing) is a bit closer to lunch time (my belly rumbles at 2.15) and gives me longer in your company (creep - creep) oops.. and Mr Mawby's obviously :)
