steb9780
Absolutely Ridiculous this now. It's gone up 5p a litre in the space of 4 days. That's at the Shell near the Deepdale retail park. Before that it was 115.9p, it is actually cheaper in the rural town of Longridge it was 107.9 when I went 2 weeks back.

Pixelfill
I've always found that one a bit expensive, the one on Garstang road is usually cheaper. Mike
steb9780
I've always found that one a bit expensive, the one on Garstang road is usually cheaper. Mike It used to be one of the cheaper ones up until 6/8 months ago. Luckily my daughter goes to scholl in Alston, which is 2 minutes from Longridge, so I am going there from now on. juanchan
There are 2 shell garages within a mile of where I live. One of them is always, without fail, about 2-3p a litre more than the other one Last time I filled up the Supra was in Wrexham on the 31st and I paid 99.9p for 95 RON. The top stuff was only about 105.9/litre.
Dragonlady
So much for the fuel protests a few weeks back. I see the government took a lot of notice as usual!!!!!
tomgeer
£1.07 is my nearest garage price, texaco, £1.20... thats shocking the greedy b*stards
Nodalmighty
Is this why so many Supras are coming up for sale just now? How many are considering selling due to petrol prices and what is this going to do to the base price of all HP road cars? Worrying times ahead for both tuners and owners me thinks Lyndon. steb9780
Just been to the garage in Longridge, Optimax there is 110.9. Thats a whole 10 pence per litre cheaper. Last week the one at Deepdale added 5p per litre. In Longridge they have added only 2p. I can see myself in a TDi of some sort, if it carries on. Wez
I cant get V-Power anywhere near me at the moment, I have tried for the last two weeks and none is available, the garage attendants say there is a shortage, I tried 4 shell garages I resorted to using BP Ultimate now

How many are considering selling due to petrol prices and what is this going to do to the base price of all HP road cars? Worrying times ahead for both tuners and owners me thinks Lyndon. Very true. Petrol prices may not worry a person who only drives car occasionally or is not heavy footed, but for some one who drives it reguarly and hard it can be worrying. I myself got rid of my single as i was driving it regular and some weeks spent between £200-£250 on fuel. Gov't are a bunch of tosser's and always on about carbon this and that and constantly using this as an excuse to screw us for more money. They need to admit they Fuc>ed up big time and have let to many people in to this country and are paying out too much in benefits as well as trying to recoupe money lost from the economy through northern rock etc. How u doing Lyndon, its Mo (mirage)? Harps
Apologies for bringing up an old thread, but I figured this had been discussed once or twice before I may have a new record - BP Ultimate £1.28 a litre near me. On the plus side, as it was my first proper drive of the year, I did find a 3 month old open packet of extra strong mints and 23 pence in coppers that I think were found by Jody when my car was at Interpro last year. So all in all, I'm a few bob down but its not all bad news!
RobSheffield
Odd, V-power was 106.9 the last week here, not put any in since EDIT, now i think about it im not so sure....
CJ
A recent price drop here has seen it go down to 1.08 per litre. At today's exchange rate, that's about 0.80p per litre.
steb9780
I have now found the Withy Tress garage (about 5/10 minutes drive) which is doing Optimax for 108.9. So I am slightly happier, but still pi55ed at the prices.

steb9780
I did tell you ! Mike Yep sorry, my excuse is : you didn't narrow it down enough when you said Garstang Road. It could have been in Garstang for all I know.
