Muffleman
Okay, as much as it will break my little heart, I am planning to sell the Trial Supra in the spring Firstly, as you all know, I'm trying to get a new business off the ground. Secondly, I would actually like to make a start on the first AFR Tuning project Supra. So I'm going to put her up for sale I'm in the middle of getting her ready right now, the engine is pretty much run in so will be mapped soon and then she will be up for sale......but how much ??? I know a car is only worth what someone will pay, but it's fair to say that this car is fairly unique. I still get people clapping and waving as I drive past, people hanging out of their car windows aiming their phones at me etc Since it came to this country, I have done the following : New Glass headlights and clear side repeaters Black carpet and Envy mats Replaced speakers etc. But more importantly : Just had full engine rebuild with dp and manifold heatwrapped Gearbox rebuild Replace F-Con with AEM etc HKS fuel rail + 1000cc Injectors Twin walbros New plates in HKS clutch Theres more, but you get the idea. I can't foresee any real issues, plus I will be replacing the discs and pads on the big brembo front brakes shortly and have just replaced all silicone between turbo and intake with Samco extreme and mikalors. Just got her pretty much perfect dammit Incidentally, I will be interested in a part exchange Supra for the AFR demo car I was offered £26k for it twice in the last year and that was before I rebuilt the engine\gearbox etc, but I wasn't selling. Penny for your thoughts !
Gaz6002
In the current climate, £25k (ish) would be a fair price IMHO. Its got pedigree and a high spec but any more than that will price it way out of the market.
colsoop
Do you still have the details of the people who offered you £26k ?

mr keef
Seen this car when it was first imported and it was amazing then...the mind boggles at what its like now, this is my favorite supra on the club,if i could have any supra and money was no object then this would be the one...i would say dont sell her Matt but i wont,as i cant wait to see your project come together, good luck with the sale. matt k
The Market is really bad at the moment, if you don't NEED to sell then i wouldn't, but if you have to sell then i think you might struggle to get over £20K and i know by how much i have spent on my car that an offer like that would be an insult considering how much money you must have in that car. I think Jamie is right that selling it overseas could generate more cash

fat_controller
what the spec on the engine build?
Muffleman
All brand new Toyota parts inc. oil pump, water pump etc. Only non-toyota parts are the forged pistons. Perfectly sufficient for the boost and power it will be running. The build was done properly though.

RedM
If I had 25k I'd be on the M1 already, flu or not. Lovely car even if the front view still makes me think 'Hulk Hogan'

Muffleman
The engine in the Trial Supra was bone stock before the rebuild, did a fair few miles with the single on and no problems with the front crank seal. That was an engine built by Trial.
