Rear brake disks

My rear disks need replacing as they are badly corroded. I've done a quick search and everyone seems to be telling me to stick with stock rotors. Just been down to toyota to see how much and they quoted me £76.86 +VAT each for j spec rear disks! Thats £180, which seems a bit silly to me! Is this reasonable? or should i be looking elsewhere?

Cheers

Rear disks are very expensive, it's £300 for a set of UK-spec rears, and that's considerably more than the fronts. They have that big bellhousing for the handbrake system y'see and apparently that costs money

I use Blueprint stuff as the OEM ones tend to warp easier than them even with my miss daisy driving style. Blueprint is cheaper as well, so you might want to try that route, but don't expect series III Land Rover prices ;)

Is that including the flight to japan to fetch them:p I paid £116 for a pair of OEM uk rear discs last year.

Ok. Thanks for the advice. I think I was just a bit surprised as the last set of disks I got were for my mini and only cost £20 for the set!

:rlol: 300+ mm vented discs with an internal drum were always cheap on minis though.
