Toytown
Anybody been to one recently ? I havn't for ages, using ebay more than anytihng else to make purchases, just wondered if this has killed the fairs dead or if they are still worth going to (as a buyer or trader) ? eldudereno
Went to one a few months back. They're still worth going to but as always your choice of components is limited if you want to build a good system. If you want to build something cheap, you'll find everything you require. Pete
Usually a load of cheap taiwanese none branded shite (or knocked off) in my experience. Mind you, I do work for an IT company
merckx
They do sell some cheap stuff for those who want it but you can still buy some quality stuff aswell. They're as busy as ever!
Muffleman
Must admit, whenever I've been the prices haven't been noticably better than 'say' ebuyer, aria, savacentre, dabs, microdirect et al. I'd much rather pay a couple of quid more and buy from a company I could get hold of again should something happen.

Most of the people at the fairs have their own shops.
