binkatt Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 Have to admit i dont own a supra, came very close to it, am mainly on here for buying parts, as for the car i drive its a 420 bhp 306 gti 6 turbo. I know its like none of your cars and you could prob all have me in a straight line and most of you guys are running plus 500 bhp. Still i like it and it goes quite well lol. binkatt Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 Its not too bad, we limit the boost in 1st and 2nd gear and then full boost from 3rd to 6th, Does torque steer quite a lot, it runs 420 ft/lbs. No real point using first or second lol, as soon as the turbo is spining say in 3rd, it is just relentless wave of power that does not stop till you hit rev limiter in 6th lol, that works out at about 158 mph, need to fiddle and do a few more other things to it, Heres a question for you guys, are your intercoolers and radiators to efficient in this weather, my car has a hard time to warm up due to no thermoststat, but in this weather only gets to 70c, oil is fine, wondered if you guys had same problem, intercooler and rad custom made, rs 500 style intercooler.
