absz
hi it comes of just by pulling it , might need a little help with a flat screwdriver. when thats off you can undo the nut and remove the switch complete.

Geezabloke
As said...just pull the knob off to reveal a nut underneath. Dave :flame Dev
lightwave
Done it yet? I'm going to be embarking on this myself when I find the time. How did you strip the crap off it, or is yours facelift, sans-crap?
Jake
How did you strip the crap off it I did mine with celulose thinners and elbow grease
Geezabloke
Lesson in stripping the rubber crap off your dash. Arm yourself with some Meths (not for drinking but will come close) and lots of wire wool. Emerse wire wool in Meths and apply vigorously to the dash sections rubber coating. When its doesnt budge keep repeating, the rubber will eventually break down. But be prepared for hours of hard graft. Good luck Dave
The Hornet
I did it the extremely easy way, stripped all me dash panels out and took em to a spray shop. Picked them up that night and re-fitted them
absz
when i done mine i just gave it a once over with a abrasive pad and then just sprayed it with high build primer to hide imperfections it worked fine .
lightwave
I can find meths or cellulose thinners, but if anybody knows where I can buy some "elbow grease", or perhaps if you've got some spare Jake, then that would be great! ...but thanks a lot for the tips guys, I can't wait.
