Snooze
I'd be interested in this one - I've not come up against a Supra in my MkII yet. Must admit the weight of the Aristo makes it feel sluggish compared to how my Supra used to feel, but that might just be the smoother ride. AJI
As I've owned and driven a few of both, the Aristo will be very surprising quick On the lakes runs a couple of years ago, my BPU (1.1bar) Aristo could easily match/make a little ground on a 1.2 bar BPU Supra. The Supra driver was pretty surprised that he couldn't shake me! Hopefully you have better skills behind the wheel, because you'll need them! Gaz. yep that Aristo of yours Gaz was a quick machine. 2jzhead
Point well made. Those boost levels are fine for a quick blast!! I know they'll be running around 100% duty on the ceramics but J-specs run slightly rich anyway and I'm sure if you gave it some WOT at 1.3 bar for a good 2-3 mins all would be fine..........I hope.......for his sake HEHE never did ours any harm when setting the Boost controller up, we hit 1.4 a few times http://img86.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fridaynight065gq5.jpg definatly not good in the long run, 1.25 MAX but hey, its a supra, it can take a little abuse

mitulparmar787
Sorry for bringing this thread back from the past but the Aristo in question would be mine - I'd learned about this thread a while back but didn't really want to spill any details until I was 100% certain. I see there's a lot of bias for the Supra which I completely understand since it's a fab car but alot are underestimating the Aristo I'll basically have the following mods: 4" turbo back exhaust GReddy 3 row FMIC Spring/shock setup - hoping Chris Wilson may be able to sort this Fully braced (chassis, strut, lower chassis, etc) 100% Meth injection Pro EFI ECU (fingers crossed it'll be done by then) by John Reed to control boost, fuel, timing, etc All at 1.2 bar. This is going to be a charity fundraiser where people will bet how long it takes us to get from 0-100mph in seconds and in turn who's faster. So should be fun! Just thought I'd nip in and stick up for the Aristo crowd
