SUPRALOOPY
NO JOY ON THE SKYLINE FORUM!!!!!!!!!! Ok my problem is. I am plumbing in the thor FCD and as I have no MAP wire I'm using the MAF wire. Also I'm plumbing in a SAFC2 wich also uses the MAF wire to fudge the signal right?? Can I chop in at the same place for both items or is there a gap between units that needs to be left?? IE FCD chopped in first then SAFC2 IYKWIM?? Thanks and sorry for putting this on the supra tuners and wasting good supra club bandwidth:d Cheers Dave:)
Tricky-Ricky
I thought the SAFC-2 had its own FCD??
SUPRALOOPY
I thought the SAFC-2 had its own FCD?? Please tell me more:) How does this work? As on the supra the fcd was already there and the SAFC2 was only monitoring. As it was never mapped.
Tricky-Ricky
Sorry my mistake, just had a quick squint at the manual, but can't see any info that says it will act as FCD, would have thought you would be better off with EMB or EMU, not much more money, but anyway the question about plumbing in a FCD as well as SAFC-2,IMO if you place it upstream and limit AFM voltage and then want to add fuel=voltage you could still get FC, but if placed downstream, then the amount of fuel you can add would again be limited, piggybacks are a bit of a pain like that with AFM equipped cars. Chris Wilson
STOP, just buy a Power FC and do it properly!
SUPRALOOPY
Thanks chris but I'm not going mad on this car, I'm only using things that I had before, not buying new stuff.
