Group buy: Front speaker mounts for large speakers

Feel free to ignore this thread and go here.

Hi guys

A local handyman has agreed to make me a pair of front speaker mounts according to the template here.

I'm just brokering with him the idea of doing these in bulk, as I know there's a lot of demand on here for them and a lot of people (like me) who dont have the tools, skill, or maybe not the time, to do this themselves.

I'm not sure what the price will be, but I suspect they will be over £40 a pair to make these worthwhile.

I'm just trying to gauge interest at this stage, in order to tell my handyman how many he might have to do. If you are interested, could you please put your name on the list...

Oh, okay. Thanks for the tips.

Didn't realise it was a trader thing.

I did notice that the previous group buy was cheaper, but I also got the impression it was not cost effective, which is why no one else seems willing to take up the mantle and do another one. (I know enough people have asked for one.)

Will get onto the mods now...

All group buys have to be submitted through a Moderator to be approved. :)

Sorry, I've only just found that out! (I guess I should have read the instructions first...)

I've already PMd Homer, but since you've already come along, feel free to say Yay or Nay, or whatever!

If there is sufficient interest, i could do another group buy as long as its ok with the mods. Its only worth doing if I get at least 15 confirmed orders. I would have to re-check the price of the wood, but provisionally they would be the same price as last time.
