was driving home from work tonight and closed my drivers side electric window. it made a small bang then would not work after that.i have just been trying to take door apart and there must be a million screws, no wonder toyota are reliable they built like tanks.

got all door apart and my cable has snapped and jammed solid.and other cable is about to go too.so is it just a matter of swopping over a new cable.the motor works fine so no trouble there.i have un jammed the cable. has anybody changed a cable over before. also does anyone have a part number for the j spec

it looks a right mess with door card out

i think i will get my crappy polo insured and get a few bits sorted on supra

got 2 sets of wheels to refurbish and paint and waiting for a downpipe off paul whiffin

and now my electric window

also is the standard toyota door speaker only 15 watts

mine is a fujitsu 10

61.00 + vat for part to fx windows

you can not buy cable on its own

also priced up some rear uk brakes

195 for calipers + vat each

150 for discs + vat each

50 for pads + vat each (said there is 3 types of pads)

will have to look at getting a group brake buy if its still on.

what else do you need for full brake kit

i also asked if for a price of a LSD but said he dont know if you can fit.said you will have to find out if it can be done. my car does not have it on

was in 2 minds about selling car and start over with a uk car

with 6 speed
