Its just not doing anything!! argh!

I had a message the other day when i got in saying the battery was low and needed replacing soon. I grabbed the mouse to get rid of the box and its not doing anything, the pointer is just in the middle of the screen.

Replaced the batteries, turned off / on, unplugged while off / on etc, just nothing seems to be working :(

clicked the "connect" butoon on hte back of the mouse but nothing either.

Any advice? would gon on troubleshoot but you need a mouse for that! ironic.

BTW, its my home computer this problem is with.

Reboot and then try again unless you have already tried that.

If its a USB one try a different port, do you get the USB detected noice when you plug the reciever in?

Might have to try another port then

Use the keyboard to troubleshoot.

CTRL-ESC, cursor keys etc...

I can get to the toubleshoot, but to search the topics you need a mouse!

Does your mouse have the tiny button underneath and the sender have a button too? think you have to push one then the other... or something like that...

Ahh, good thinking batman, ive not checked underneath the reciever, just been pushing the connect on the mouse, but if you need to push a second button like you do on the Wii then that might be it!! ;)
