carl0s
That lady who just got assassinated.. somebody just realised that in a radio interview a couple of months ago, she said "he also knows Mr X.. the guy who killed Osama Bin Laden". That's the story as far as I can tell.
ivan
It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to be honest. The "War On Terror" has to have a baddie to aim for or it'll lose momentum in the public eye.

imi
That lady who just got assassinated.. somebody just realised that in a radio interview a couple of months ago, she said "he also knows Mr X.. the guy who killed Osama Bin Laden". That's the story as far as I can tell. Was on the DAVID FROST show on AL-JAZEERA ch 514...so not a radio show and hardly an insignificant source of news wouldn't you think. Interesting how this has been pushed under the cover....and gone unnoticed.

imi
To those that are interested, to the ones that are not, please ignore. It is becoming increasingly apparent that the present regime of General Musharraf has to do something with the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. Today's Washington Post provides details on how doctors were pressured to keep silent (see below) about the facts. Those who are hurt by Benazir Bhutto's murder and those who wish to see justice done must not allow the present regime to get away with Benazir's murder. The only peaceful method for seeking justice is bring upon unprecedented pressure on the Pakistan government to allow an impartial body (UN) to conduct a probe of Benazir's assassination. In addition to writing to Bush and world leaders to support UN probe, you must sign the on line petition available on the following link: http://www.petitiononline.com/MBB/petition.html This on-line petition initiated late on December 28, 2007 has already been signed by about 2,700 persons. Our goal is to collect 5,000 signatures and send it to the UN Secretary General and to each member of the Security Council. We must not allow dictatorial regimes to get away with murder of our genuine leaders. This occasion calls all of us to be determined and diligent in pursuing the quest for justice. Please sign the petition as your way of greeting the New Year with hopes and prayers for democracy and justice to Pakistan. Please circulate the Petition link to as many people as possible. Charlotte
There was an interesting documentary on last month about Bin Laden's son and his English wife (that treated him like some kind of celebrity), not sure how it relates to this thread but it was a bit of an insight. Sheefa
I knew Musharraf was up to no good again and would have a hand in Bhuttos death. He locked her up, refused to share power with her and rigged previous elections, whilst also exiling the former Primeminister Nawaz Sharif. He needs to be removed from power. As for Binny Boy, gutting news. I was hoping I would get to have a pop at him at some point in my life.
