imi
I'd tell the thief to hand the items back in to the place he stole them from. why the question.....thought it was quite obvious.....
Guest CoolsBlue
Only one answer, do the right thing, hand it in, the owner of it will return looking for it...and you should work for what you want.

michael
Have we made up our minds on this one yet? I'm amazed at how people are unwilling to tell him to do the right thing!
SMiFFAD
I had a pair of expensive sunglasses nicked by someone who "claimed" them as theirs, after id left them ontop of a locker for 5 mins Its fairly annoying to have your stuff nicked my some chancer, even more so if its a little kids xmas present id imagine. Ask your mate... if hed left something, say his phone somewhere, would he have liked someone to take it, or hand it in and be re-united with it! Tom
Take it back, last week just before xmas I pulled into a car park space and found a wallet lying in the parking bay next to me, I picked it up, had a look for a name on a CC which was poking out and waited in the car for a while as there was another car parked to the other side of the bay as it looked like it may have been the owners car. No one turned up so I went into the superstore and got them to do a tannoy announement, no one came over but they took my details just incase the guy calls them up and wants to contact me. I got home later that evening and there was a message on the phone from the guy thanking me for finding his wallet and that he was going to buy me an xmas present! I told him he didnt have to but he insisted, he came round later that week and asked me "did you realise how much money was in the wallet" I said I didnt even look, which I didn't, in excess of £300 in cash apparently!, but i'm just not that sort of person who would take someones property like that I always put my self if I was in their shoes and how crap it would be to lose something, let alone right before xmas and how nice it would be if someone honest handed it back in.
