carl0s
Phew. Thanks for posting this! Remember my "140 mph.. stopped by police" thread in June.. where the copper informed me that my license had been revoked some time ago. Well I just thought I'd phone the DVLA now. Got almost straight through to a lady, and I'm going to have to pay £22 for a new license, but I am told to tick the "erroneously revoked" box, and I'll have a proper official driving license again Because my license was revoked in 2002, I have to do it via post, otherwise it could have been done over the phone. Phew! Anyway, I rang this number: 01792 782 341 and chose the option for Drivers (rather than Vehicles), then just kept pressing 5 for "other enquiry". Chewie
I think they do it deliberately to reinforce the fact that you were a naughty boy. It's all part of the punishment. Take it in your stride.
