bibblebob
Is there any particular way to put the alternator back on. getting it off was a bit of a pig,i had to cut auxilery belt off to remove it. Stupid little star bolt and top bolt are held in with lock tight. Do i put alternator on bolt it up and then stretch new belt on or is there an easier way:(advice appreciated

miko_supra
you didn't need to cut the belt. you just needed to slacken it off

flukey-lukey
Get a 14mm socket on the aux belt tensioner and ratchet it as if you were trying to tighten the bolt (clockwise) and hey presto the belt will become slack and can easily be removed. Same again for putting the new one back on
