Used to do the whole must go out thing but like a lot of things i used to do, It has become boring to me now.

I will probably be asleep when the new year kicks in :)

For a few hours the world is an exciting place where people can make all these wonderful plans and resolutions and declare that this is their year ;) then spend the rest of the year trying their hardest to avoid doing the plans they made while drunk at 11:59 :D

I will be taking my wife and mother (who's visiting from the states) to a friends' for a B-Day/New Year's Party here in the village. I'm sure it will be fun.

I do have to say that a few years back while deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operation Deny Christmas, I ran a 5K with 400+ other strangely dressed soldiers. We started at the stroke of midnight. The British contingent were all dressed the same and were hilarious. I'll tell you though, it's been the easiest to remember given the lack of booze.

Anyone ever thought about organizing a Supra meet?

Going to Que Club in Birmingham Town tonight for a club fest. Really didn't want to do it this year and actually would of preferred a nice chilled out night down the local, easy to get home etc, but poor planning has got me to this point, plus all my mates are on the pull so hence the local doesn't suit them. Should be good though. I'll let you know at 6/7am this morning how the night went after I'm shedded.

I'll probably be on here moaning about something, the invites aren't exactly flooding in and the thought of going out on my own to places packed with morons doesn't really appeal :)

Maybe I'll go to the pictures or out for a drive...

I would have said you'd be welcome to pop round and play with my Wii if you wanted... but the house looks like a bomb hit it, then a great dane decided to empty the contents of the bin everywhere, then a small kitten ripped a toilet roll to shreds everywhere. Plus I think we might be off to the cinema tonight now too. I am legend, probably.

Got fed up with going out for new year, overpriced, overcrowded and over-rated!

I agree, you go out spend a fortune, don't get drunk and it's always a flop!!

Looking forward to this year though as H said we're off to theirs and playing "Friends Scene It" which they kindly bought me for xmas.

Can't wait!:yahoo:

Awwww, poor you. If you start driving now you could be in Cornwall before midnight and have a few drinks with us. We even have a spare bed you could sleep in.

Where does someone get these "mates" people keep talking about?

;)

You have more then you think ;)
