Calliper Part - Help Please

Recommended Posts

Guys

Have had rear callipers delivered - but seem to be missing the retaining spring (S/S cross shaped part in picture)

Got these 2nd hand - so really need to identify and hopefully replace - as do not want to send them back.

Anyone any idea what this is called / part etc etc

many thanks

Buy a shim kit from Toyota and i'm pretty sure these bits will come in it. Probably worth replacing all the shim's if they are secondhand.

Paul,

I did my rear pads about 2 weeks ago, got new pins, clips shims and the anti-rattle 'cross' you are on about.

These DID NOT come with the shim kit or the clips, they were purchased seperate, came in their own little 'Toyota bag' that I've now thrown away so I'm sorry but I can't help with the part Number !!

They recommend that you change the shims but say that the 'anti-rattle' things can be cleaned and re-used if they have enough tension still in them, but they were not that expensive so change the lot.
