Autobox playing up?

Not like the car but in the past day or two there has been 2 instances where the car has juddered a bit, and today (while flooring the car through the gears) the car reved with no power, like a manual car would do when the clutch slips. Its never happened before, has this happened to anyone before?

wrong place, sorry! meant to be in technical!

can a mod move please!

check your error codes mate. if you look on the passenger side of the autobox under the car, theres a sensor that plugs into it, remove it, and give it a clean. also worth changing you autobox fluid. worked for me. but you may have a different problem.

the engine malfunction light has been appearing aswell a little more often than i need to see. It comes on when at high revs and stays on for a minute, have to try n check there error codes but not sure how. Im getting the rear pads changed today as the warning shim is rubbing the brake disk, could this be causing the engine light and red exclamation mark to come on now and then?

Its an NA 94 Jap, i know the UK spec front bumber in my garage pics are misleading! Bloody bought it with that on it and its not an R reg either ....... DVLA put wrong year of plate in, It should be an L or M!

Also when the car is at high revs (and engine light appears) there is no loss of power, the car performs as usual apart from i go easy on the accelerator until it goes off again! its just happening more frequent!

Sorry i should have seperated my problems a bit better,

1 Engine light appears at high revs with no loss of power and stays on for a minute or so (Think this happens more when the car has been off, then i suddenly put the foot down)

2 Car has juddered twice in the past week, (like someone controling a manual car that cant use a clutch!) and while flooring it today seemed to jump outa gear and reved high, like the clutch slipping on a manual car
