Sheefa
Does he tuck into raw flesh or has he got to get the stove out every time he wants to eat?
michael
Does he tuck into raw flesh or has he got to get the stove out every time he wants to eat? He was hiding chicken in his pocket to chew up and feed to the wolves via his mouth so I guess he munches down on that when he wants - when they were eating the carcass he'd precooked the "prime" bits the pack leader gets, wrapped them in cling film and put them back inside the animal. Pretty grim really but if it floats his boat...

michael
Jesus. That's a whole lot of effort and crazyness. Where does he live, actually out in the woods or some shack? He had a caravan on site at the zoo place, mobile, TV & DVD etc so he's not a complete oddball, just very keen to learn about wolves I guess. Sheefa
Something very different indeed. Fair play though. I couldn't see Mr D Attenborough getting down and dirty like that though. He's not a fruitcake. Surely the wolves will 'turn' one day??
michael
Surely the wolves will 'turn' one day?? He had to leave them for a few weeks to go on wolf business in Poland, when he got back he was no longer the dominant one in the pack so had to take on a more submissive role, they still accepted him though. He did get a few bites and scratches as part of the whole process, apparently the wolves would take the stitches out when he got back and then lick his wounds - sounds grotty but apparantly wolf saliva contains all kinds of goodness that makes wounds heal quicker. Sheefa
This is bordering crazy on the lines of Steve Irwin. Will his day come I wonder. Sounds interesting Michael, will have to try and catch the next feature.
