R Black
Omega man is a better flick IMO, he misses out on a supercharged Stang to chase deer with, thats all.
Sheefa
Imagine being it NY when they closed all the roads, brilliant. Little clip of the pre-mayhem! Will make an appearance. Anyone see him on Jonathon Ross a while back?

tbourner
My brother said it was alright, so I'll probably still see it, mainly cos I'm a WS fan though. A few people slagged off the Bourne Ultimatum saying it's more of the same and not worth a watch, but I thought it was great!! (saw it yesterday). MrRalphMan
It's well worth a watch, I like WS and he does act very well in this. Just the 'good old happy ending' that lets it down.
tbourner
'Bad' endings never bother me though, the good guys don't always need to survive you know!! I quite liked Deep Blue Sea for that!
Scoboblio
I liked it, but agree with you Paul, the ending was far too fairy tale when the rest of the film tried to be realistic. And the Shelby at the start was another piece of blatant product placement. . And another thing.... in three years, he never came across a pair of night vision goggles? Overall though it made for a brilliant experience at the cinema, very atmospheric and jumpy.

CJ
I thought it was "OK". Nothing special and certainly not worth the hype.

MrRalphMan
Just finished... Much better ending, even it it's pretty much the same..
imi
when his car was flipped by the zombies / infected people....and the zombie boss was about to bite into his face the girl amazingly saves him by shining UV light into the zombies eyes... At that point, I thought the movie was a bit like the trueman show...where it was an experiment and they wanted to keep WS alive... Stupid ending though......he could have easily bombed the lab with all the zombies in it and escaped along with the woman and the kid. more so...the female zombie was getting better...so he did infact kill an innocent human being....would have been better if he had found a way to cure the rest first rather than blowing himself up... Good movie though.....however could have been so much better.
MrRalphMan
Not sure how a small Frag grenade firebombed the whole lab...
Ferio
I love the GT he's driving at the start of the movie! The movie is defintely one of the better movies but the end.. i expected more.. They should have worked it out more, now it looks like they quickly finished it off but overall a very good movie to watch!
imi
WS was an Army General.....really roughed up...weapons...surviving on the island. Who comes to rescue him from the zombies...a young woman and her son.....normally dressed.....happened to be driving past as they picked up his message. No weapons, no armed guys...not scared....just armed with a UV flashlight. Doesnt that make WS look completely ridiculous....
MrRalphMan
Well he had gone a little dollally after Sammy got it. Still I would have thought that the 'Not Zombies' would have rolled over em with no issues at all.
tomgeer
Wow, Just finished watching this. Great film right up to the ending, which I thought was a little weak. When Sam died, it almost got me.. Don't think I would have lasted three years in that environment... uuuurgh. I thought I'd better start another thread, as Nic's title isn't the best... Paul. Shoot Em Up is coming up next. Totally agree with that, it had the potential to be a classic but the ending was a real let down, seemed like it had been edited to fit into the 2 hour time slot, a shame but still worth watching:)
ivan
more so...the female zombie was getting better...so he did infact kill an innocent human being....would have been better if he had found a way to cure the rest first rather than blowing himself up...That was an integral part of the original story. He turned out to be as bad as the "zombies" in the end because he was killing innocents. It was also the reason he died.
Guest ajaxjones
Saw this yesterday and was fairly impressed considering the reviews I'd read. I'd watched The Last Man On Earth on Sumo TV the day before and both films were spookily similar. Legend is much closer to the original than Omega Man. But it was a shame they had to tack on a 'happy ever after' ending. Typical Hollywood. You can watch the original online or download it here too http://www.sumo.tv/movies.php?movie=
keancy
Was well worth seeing though I thought the End was a little aprupt. Poor doggy aswell, sniff.

MrRalphMan
My favourate part - The SR71 Blackbird being used as a Golf Tee. That's Uber cool. See 0:48 below. Brilliant. In his bestest geekish voice.. I think you'll find that it was a A-12 and not a SR-71. TBH I thought it was a SR-71 too, but just been reading up on it and found out it's not... Some interesting reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SR-71_Blackbird"]here.
