The Raven
OK someone tell me why they are so great? Compaired to a TT supra? Whats it got over the supra that demands 30k? Not that i was thinking of buying one...............
tooquicktostop
Way ahead of its time, superb engine and handling, quite rare and a cult car in Japan so not as many imports coming over
jevansio
Maybe the Senna connection?, agree it commands a hefty price tag, a great looking car though
Matt H
Its rare... and umm its got good handling ability, umm...
RobSheffield
It hasnt had the chav influence dropping its prices like the Supra had, and its a hi output NA engine
The Raven
Thats what i thought not alot other than "wow never seen one of them before" I would guess getting one fixed would be killer.
Lebsteif
maintenance for a NSX comes with a hefty pricetag
Rob
MId engined too. int'it? Like a proper sports car.
Bobbeh
It also came with an Auto box option (not like a propper sports car ) The Senna inluence deffo pushed the price tag/image up, but to me I'd only want to trader for the NSX-R models if I was really serious about having one. I do love them looks wise.
AndyT
The owners club turned up in force at Japfest. A LOT of NSX's to drool at.
hadyn
Yeah I wonder how badly the 1990s Chav icon/Maxpower influence has affected the mkiv Supra when compared to say an NSX in this country...
far
yeah I' ve been waiting for them to go down in price for ages now - seem to hang on to their value pretty well. Agreed, NSX-R or at the very least a late model 3.2 targa. early 3.0's are affordable now but I wouldnt want one. If I had the option I would actually get a newish 911 - they are German
Daston
it does seem to have hurt it a lot. I mean the supe is a bit like the Jap mustang in terms of the amount of aftermarket parts yet a mustang dosnt get the chav crowd...
miko_supra
it's all paul walker's fault
Chiefgroover
So many dog rough Supras were shipped here from Japan, AND Supras got all the chav stuff thrown at them, any wonder their values are weak. When is the last time you saw a chavved NSX? Does make me think, if there never had been imports, what would UK Supras be worth now?
RobSheffield
When is the last time you saw a chavved NSX? Good point Im not sure i have ever seen one.
Kopite
Didn't Winston Wolf drive one in Pulp Fiction? He was cool so probably upped the value a bit
The Raven
Interesting what would have happened had the NSX become the FF car and the supra had remained unmolested.
carl0s
Hand made aluminium panels add to the cost somewhat. Or was it hand put-together? Can't remember.

Blackie
Yeah I wonder how badly the 1990s Chav icon/Maxpower influence has affected the mkiv Supra when compared to say an NSX in this country... my mate showed me a "chaved up NSX" in his maxpower magazine, they wont leave anything alone
The Raven
Bump after a year, Still these things demand huge prices, for less BHP than my TT.
chris2o2
Its not all about the bhp imo. Would be nice to be able to afford an NSX , had a look at them at the local Honda dealership a few years ago - silly money though .
