I'm sure I'm not the only one on here, but......

I don't usually do it - avoid it like the plague. However, this year we are buying lots of stuff - so we're hitting the sales tomorrow!!! Not sure if this is a good idea, but what the hell! :search:

Anyway, plan is to buy a new tv (Samsung M86/87 LCD) and a new sofa (if we find one we like) plus we have around £200 worth of vouchers for M&S, Argos and such, so going to see what other goodies we can find! We also want a dishwasher, new dining set etc but I doubt we'll find anything just yet.

All this 2 days before I get made redundant - good job I've got a new job to go to in Jan eh???? LOL

Rather you then me lol.......good luck, bet it will be like a battle field out there, people ripping limbs off to snap up the good deals...in fact stay home and do it.....

As her is a fact for you, more people would have been logging on last night after mid night for the Jan sales then people went to Church today......now thats the society will live in........

I was at Debenhams for 8am start hoping to get some John Rocha stuff cheap. None of it in the sale.

Then I thought I'd get a suit, saw a couple I liked but they're all a tight fit (apparently the fashion). The tops of my legs were tight and the crotch area was somewhat revealing.

I had a good look around and found nothing I wanted to buy, big fat waste of time. :(

Couldn't be bothered to wait until 10am for the other shops to open.

Came home, looked on the website and had more success with two Sonneti shirts and a Jasper Conrad one. Then did a few DVDs on Play.

Screw going up town, sale shopping on line is far more successful.

well I'm back - and suprisingly happy! The shops were seemingly DEAD! Easy to park, no real problems being served by staff, overall quite a chilled day!

However - I didn't buy anything in the end LOL - TV's been ordered online from DABS as nobody in store could come close to their price (or dixons online for that matter) and we've still got to find a decent sofa... nobody had any slimline integrated dishwashers in stock either :(

Nevermind - wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! :)

no mate, I mean the 45cm width - 60cm is full size.

Found loads of suitable models, but we have a slight problem with depth of the unit so have to make sure it's not too deep. We won't use it much and seen cheapish ones at around £180 - 240 that would do - if they were in stock! lol

thanks mate - water inlet/outlet is not directly behind the machine, but the plug socket is :( - Can't relocate the socket either - would mean a hell of a lot of rewiring of the kitchen. The plug sticks out by 3cm, so assuming the dimensions of the dishwashers supplied by manufacturer include the pipe access at the rear, the dishwasher will stick out by 8-10mm at the front - what a b*tch.... :(

Anyway - I've now spent somewhere close to £1,000 online in the last 3 hours - tv, dvd player, cables, connectors - all i need is the wall bracket and it fitted on the wall and I'm done :)
