jazz1
yea it does matter as i requested the 950 and paid 700 they installed the 650 and i could of got that much cheaper, the only reason i went to these guys is the fact they would fit the 950. I was getting the 650 with add ons cheaper else where. Also my back lights dont work the brake lights come on fine if i press the breakes and the indicator lights come on fine but when i turn the lights on the back ones dont come in affect, so thats means they fu*ked up somewhere, im taking the car back on friday and going to have a good go and that guy as could of get. Oh and i was told it would come with a shock sensor but that wasnt fitted

jazz1
http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1734346&postcount=1 Right....just looked as if you knew you'd got the 650 yea but until matt told me what price he could of done the lot 500-550, so thats why im pissed off, and i did request the 950 which wasnt installed so im going to request some money back or ask for the 650 to be removed in replace of the 950 like stated
RobSheffield
Right, the 950 is an old model If you went to buy a Supra and they said 'it will be £5000 but its a mark 3', and then bought a mark 4 for £6000 then you are happy right? This is what you have done - paid a little more (with the extras you have its all gravy, 50 quid up or down, is it worth the stress, really?) but you have a new generation, Concept 650, which is all most shops (not iscounting old stock) sell anyway. AndyT
^^^^ This.. Stiil need to get the lights sorted though. A little discount for trouble would be appropriate I think. Good luck and Merry Christmas.
jazz1
yea but the 950 like you stated includes features like the bonnet pin included as for the 650 it dont, they should of told me before installing the alarm that they were going to use the 650mkii with add ons so i would of gone else where and got it 100 or even 150 cheaper from matt. Matt told me he could do the 650mkii with the add ons and intellistart for 500-550. not only that i left the car with them for 4 days knowing everything will be spot on and the lights dont work, the only way i found out they were not working was driving back from work 6 in the morning in the fog until some guy horns like mad saying my back lights dont work, so if i had an accident they would not be responsible. Seeing as the lights only work when i put my foot down on the breakes and before handing them the car the lights worked fine and have always had no problems, so looks like they fitted them wrong as well as chipping a bit of paint on one of the skirts but i didnt bother saying anything
RobSheffield
Both my 950 and concept 650 have bonnet pins, door pins, boot pins and pin pins....
Matt Harwood
Just to clarify things. The Intelliguard 950 is now dead and buried. It used to be their top of the range, but most dealers would stock the 650 and 'spec it up' to the 950 when needed. The 950 came with Dual Zone Proximity sensor, Glass Tamper Sensor and Tilt and Motion Sensor. It also had a single cable to make fitting of multiple sensors easier, (Only useful to the installer). It also had on-board relays for the central locking, (Only useful to the installer). Lastly, it had an extra channel output over the 650, making 3 in total. (Channel outputs can be used for controling things like door or boot pops, headlights, window closure etc - They do nothing as standard, or within the spec/price). Other than that, that's it. it did/does nothing more. For what it's worth, Cliffords phone number is 0800 929949 Hope that makes things a little clearer. jazz1
yea seeing as we agreed to the 950 he should have installed that as i wanted to install smart windows later on. Also from what i know the 950 comes with the bonnet pin. Not only that my whole back and front side lights dont work and when i turn the switch to turn on the side lights the dash lights comes on fine and the front or rear lighst dont. I spoke to my mate who used to install the alarms and hes a mechanic, he said its either the alarm wired wrong or the alarm male functioning and cant handle the ad on`s, so on friday when that guy is in im going to ask him to fix my lights remove the alarm and give my money back or il take them to court seeing as im not happy and its within 14 days
michael
Just remember to let the insurance company know, I presume your current policy has been taken out on the basis of the 950? Not having any alarm will obviously be an issue for them but also listing the wrong one could be. Damn those males and their functioning!
