mathew Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 popped out to grab a newspaper and a few things earlier and got back to my place to find there wasnt anywhere to park due to foreign fookers parking in the street. we have to buy a permit each year to just allow us to park outside our own homes. so anyway i parked my car with just my back wheels outside of the bay(there wasnt anywhere else) and went out about 30mins ago to find a friggin parking ticket on my car!! this is the 3rd time this has happend due to them foreign things taking up spaces but do they get tickets??..........NO!!! i phoned the council to object to this ticket and let rip big time to their compliants department and was advised to right a letter of complaint. i then apologised to the bint on the phone and had to hang up before i started to really lose my rag!!! im really tempted to buy a friggin polish number plate for my car, would make things a lot easier!! i need some mince pies to calm me down a bit this morning!! Supragal Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 I can completely sympathise with you. Where my mum lives is all on street parking and somehow a mosque has sprung up. So whenever they have a meeting they take up ALL the parking, and park illegally everywhere, over junctions, double parked etc etc. In the end the council let them buy a bit of empty space (I suppose it is) and use it as a car park, but even so now they just bring MORE cars use the car park and the street and cause total chaos. Plus, when they aren't having their meetings they don't let the residents use the car park so it's just empty!
