The bit about the reporting, I see what you mean, but the IS-F is getting a Ceramic break kit, so its plausible that the GT-R will at some point also. I think there are plenty of people out there willing to choose a Jap car of a European rival. There will always be snobbery but I don't think it's as bad as it used to be.
