:eyebrows:

So was just wondering re the title (not me I bought from member)

Just looking at Supras for sale; 144 Nationally, only 12 !! from Private sellers.

So vast majority being oiked by Traders (no offence PaulE etc ;) seems a little odd?

Theres some good deals too and nice quotes like

"dog forces sale!" -- anyone we know?

Aerotop -"with sunroof " -I should think so LOL

Sorry if this is meaningless.

i got my 93 jap spec TT from a private seller on autotrader, it only had 38,000 miles on the clock, took a mechanic with me got the all clear apart from a yellowish drivers headlight, full veilside kit,18 inch wheels, stock apart from that.

and i only paid £9000 for it

Got mine private on Autotrader.

Generally I would be reluctant to get one from a trader, I would always worry that they've tried to hide things like the genuine mileage, faults etc.

Saying that , even though I don't know Paul E. and other importers on here I feel I could trust them as they know a lot more about the cars and couldn't afford to lose their good reputations .

Absolutely agree I only posted because its strange so few are for sale privately no disrespect to any of the known traders on here at all.

Got mine private. Had to fly to Edinburgh to get it tho! Couldn't find a decent Auto - as the other ones we looked at were complete lemons and bent as a 9 bob note.

In the end found a manual with FSH from Japan & UK. However, I think I'd still prefer an auto tho.
